Miley Cyrus performed her new song ‘Party in the USA’ at last weeks Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Cyrus honored pop princess Britney Spears with the “Ultimate Choice Award” for her “extraordinary contribution to the entertainment industry” at the show. Miley’s performance consisted of pole dancing from atop an ice cream cart and led to much controversy this past week. Many parents were outraged that Miley who is only 16 was allowed to honor Britney Spears and do such a racy show that was geared toward teens. They reiterated that emulating Britney was definitely not teen oriented and should not have been included in the show.

Miley who is more familiarly known for her role as Hannah Montana on the Disney series Hannah Montana, which focuses on a girl who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) by day and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.

Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus defended his daughter and approved of her actions saying her moves were all good, clean fun.

He said: “You know what? I just think that Miley loves entertaining people. She loves singing and songwriting. I always tell her to love what you’re doing and stay focused for the love of the art and not worry so much about opinion.

“I give my kids a lot of freedom to make the art they want to make and make it in their own voice. I think it’s important.” Source

Miley’s younger sister Noah (9) is supposed to be going on tour with Miley and was also at the Teen Choice Awards pre-party with friends who were filmed and photographed taking a spin on the pole. Parents were even more surprised when they saw the photos and video footage of the youngest daughter of Cyrus dancing on the pole as well and stated that Billy Ray Cyrus and his children are promoting under age sex and teenage pregnancy. Individuals who have daughters who are teenagers or Noah’s age are fearful of the message that their children are receiving while watching these young girls grow up in the spotlight.

Never been in a strip club? That’s okay–if you live in Denver, you can just crank up your radio to 101.5 FM and paint a picture in your mind. Because 101.5, sponsored by local titty joint Shotgun Willie’s, calls itself “The Pole,” and its programming is all about strip club favorites from the 80s, 90s and today.

This seems more like clever marketing to a sex-numbed culture than any great leap in radio programming. What with Miley Cyrus grinding on poles on children’s television and Britney seemingly unable to wear anything besides a bikini, if it doesn’t come with sex these days, many folks just aren’t interested in ingesting it. Yawn. Where I come from, a playlist that includes Kid Rock, Rick James and Heart is as likely to be an adult contemporary mix station or a dance-jams-of-your-childhood outfit as a “strip club” song compilation.

But hey, maybe The Pole’s website is revolutionary, even if the station’s playlist isn’t! Wrong. Anyone who’s ever ear-swallowed some local shock-jock’s wanky crap will tell you that a stupid joke like an “employee bathroom live webcam” that goes backstage at a strip club before “cutting out” is par for the idiot-course.

Of course, the best 101.5 joke is the part of the site wherein they ask the strippers about Obama’s health care plan on their “Stripper Poll” and everyone gives stupid answers. GET IT strippers are stupid, GET IT!!! YOU SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE!? Women who are sexy are dumb as hell! Because nothing says sheer brilliance like a deejay named “Marty The All Night Party.”Source

Definitely a unique way to bring the strip club to someone who cannot always make it but I am intrigued on how they are going to help the listener visualize what is actually going on within the strip club, hopefully when you all read The Night Trade the words will help you visualize everything that goes on within The Ranch.

We have all experienced hard times in our lives when we could not afford the luxurious things in life or the necessary things needed for daily survival. We have all been fed up and considered doing the unthinkable in order to get that fast cash rob, sell drugs, even stripping. As women we all joke around when we are going through financial woes and say yea I am about to go hit that pole and let’s be honest ladies we are beautiful creatures so why not use what we have to our advantage right? or maybe not. I want to know under what circumstances would you become an Exotic Dancer?

Here is a little introduction as to why the girls of The Night Trade decided to start their careers at The Ranch:

Mia
Whose husband Ronnie had an unknown profession, began to struggle with money and posed the question to Mia asking if she ever considered being an Exotic Dancer. Initially appalled by his suggestion, Mia re-thinks the offer needing to support her family financially decided to use dancing as a means to pursue her dream of opening her own dental practice, so Mia decided to step onto the stage of The Ranch.

Omrya
Sexually abused at a young age ran away from home as a teenager, entering into unhealthy and toxic relationships with various men found herself being forced into sexual trysts and drug use. Fed up with being reliant upon one abusive man after another, decided to go after the  money she heard she could earn as an Exotic Dancer at The Ranch so she could once and for all be completely independent.

Kai
Never really had much of a childhood, lost her childhood sweetheart to gang violence, soon became mad at the world and ended up in bad company who introduced her to drugs and alcohol. Kai Required money that her minimum wage job couldn’t afford to support her style of partying like a rock star, thus began her career at The Ranch.

Crystal
Growing up in a single parent household was never ungrateful, but her idea of life was not limited to just the roof over her head. She always dreamed of more, and considered a college education to be her way out but getting pregnant and thrown out of the house proved to be a challenge.  Needing a way to support herself and her newborn daughter Crystal resorted to an option she never thought of ever pursuing before at The Ranch.

Bre
Wanting to have a illustrious modeling career discovered pursuing her dreams required money that her grandmother just didn’t have. Her desire to travel to the larger cities and eventually around the world, and be able to build an impressive portfolio continued to loom over her head until she one day heard of a quick way to make a large amount of cash at The Ranch.

Now that you know why these five women joined The Night Trade, I want to know under what circumstances would you ever become or consider being an exotic dancer?

Many women have been in situations where they have been the other woman or the so called home wrecker breaking up “happy” homes though many would say the home must not have been that happy that someone could just come in and disrupt it.

Wives, girlfriends, significant others, etc. would consider exotic dancers prostitutes because they consider it selling their bodies and also as home wreckers because their men go to the club diligently spending money and time with these anonymous women neglecting their relationships, families and other responsibilities.

A shocking legal loophole discovered by authorities in Rhode Island.

While teens can’t pump gas or climb ladders on the job because of protections in workplace laws, there is nothing on the books keeping 16- and 17-year-olds from stripping – as long as they’re home by 11:30 on school nights.

Authorities discovered this loophole during a police investigation into a 16-year-old runaway found working at a strip club in Providence.

Rhode Island State Representative Joanne Giannini is working to change the law. She spoke to Kiran Chetry on CNN’s “American Morning” Friday.
